How to translate web pages in Chrome

When you visit a page written in a language you don't understand, you can use Chrome to translate it:

For your computer:

Open Chrome.

Go to a web page that is in another language.

To the right of the address bar (In the 3 vertical dots icon or menu), click Translate.

Click on the language you want.

Chrome will translate the current web page.

It does not work? Try refreshing the web page. If it still doesn't work, right-click anywhere on the page. Then, click Translate to [language].

When you visit a page that's in a language you don't understand, use Chrome to translate it to the language you want.

On your Android device, open Chrome.

Go to a web page that is in another language.

In the notification at the top of the screen, tap the language you want to translate the page to.

To change the default language, do the following:

Tap Settings More languages.

Select the language.

To always translate pages that are in that language, tap Settings Always translate pages in [language].

It does not work? Try refreshing the web page. If you still can't press Translate, the language may not be available for translation.

If you don't see a Translator notification at the top of the screen, you can request a translation.

On your Android device, open Chrome.

To the right of the address bar, tap More Translate…

Note: If you want to translate the text into a language from the list, tap it and select Offer translation.

On your iPhone or iPad, open Chrome Chrome.

Go to a web page that is in another language.

At the top, select the language you want to translate to.

To change the default language, tap Settings > More languages and select the language.

Chrome will translate the web page at that time.

To always translate pages in this language, tap Settings Settings and then Always translate [language].

How to request translation in Chrome

If you can't find the Translate option at the top of a page, you can request a translation.

On your iPhone or iPad, open Chrome Chrome.

Press More More and then Translate.

When Chrome doesn't offer to translate the web page, try updating it. If you still can't press Translate, the language may not be available for translation.

Translate an internet page on Iphone or Ipad

Here you can select your own language for this website (titles and texts directly on each page) with the following button; but the texts of the links are only in Spanish with an English translation.
